I assume most of us have dropped their electronics into certain liquid doom during their lifetimes. Perhaps though the bathtub, toilet, rain, or even the ocean! However, a new technology being developed can allow the iPhone 5 to be protected by a waterproof coating.
According to AppleInsider, Apple is looking into developing a waterproof iPhone 5 in cooperation with a company called HZO. HZO introduced a new technology called WaterBlock™ which coats the entire outside of the iPhone 5 at the molecular level so the insides are protected. The WaterBlock™ was showed at the 2012 CES show.
